Dalrymple reports that he was recently mugged in the streets outside Birmingham City Hospital by the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. Fortunately, it was only a dream, but it might as well have been real.

Given how much money NHS doctors, retired or working, are given by the Chancellor of the Exchequer every year, I should think his anxieties are irrational to the point of paranoia. Even the Guardian thinks they get too much!
